Since 1967 the Chaffin Barn Dinner Theatre has been Nashville's most unique dining and entertainment experience.

When the Lifestyle Producers were at Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre, the play we saw was "The Foreigner" a comedy by Larry Shue. An uproariously funny tale of Charlie Baker - a lovable but socially inept Englishman who is trying to escape his stressful life. He ends up being left alone by his friend, Froggy, in a Georgia fishing lodge. To avoid interactions with other guests, Charlie pretends to be a "foreigner" who doesn't speak English. But his plan hilariously backfires when he becomes the perfect person with whom all share their deepest secrets and schemes. The unintended consequences are hilarious and lead Charlie to uncover a dangerous plan.
