The mission of the American Lifestyle Network is to provide a web site designed to offer News, Information and Entertainment about all facets of the Lifestyle of Americans! That is why we are always looking for representatives who want to be part of our effort. Here are the current employment opportunities available at the American Lifestyle Network.
An Event Reporter covers activities and events in a certain city or geographical area of the United States. He or she attends events that are open to the public. They could be music events, craft shows, car show, etc. The Event Reporter records interviews with the participants at the event, the vendors as well and gets comments from those attending the event or activity. The Event Reporter also will be responsible for taking pictures and/or video at the event which would be uploaded, along with the sound file to the American Lifestyle Network. This is a FREELANCE position. This means that the Event Reporter is paid per story that is filed with the American Lifestyle Network. The Event Reporter is also responsible to do a PRE-event story or report and upload that to the network. Pre-Event stories are usually done 3 to 5 weeks before the actual event and would contain an interview with the chairperson of the event. These pre-event reports can be done either at the actual event site or by telephone if the reporter has the necessary equipment to record by telephone. Payment to the Event Reporter is based on the LENGTH of the report or feature and the amount of features on the event that are uploaded and used by the network.
